This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data through your use of our website , and related app (“Website”) including any data you may provide when you contact us via our Website, purchase a product or service, or take part in a competition.

  2. make a booking for a holiday, accommodation, spa facilities or other experiences at one of our resorts or a meal at one of our restaurants;
  3. enquire about or conduct transactions related to ownership of lodges at our resorts;

  5. enter prize draws, competitions, promotions or surveys;
  6. give us feedback or contact us
  7. when you engage with us on social media; or

We may obtain personal data about you from various third parties and public sources such as:

  1. analytics providers such as Google;
  2. credit reference agencies such as Experian; and
  3. publicly available sources such as Companies House and the Electoral Register for the UK.

WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE HOLD ABOUT YOU?

  • Identity Data includes first name, last name, any previous names, [username] or similar identifier, martial status, title, data of birth, gender, [proof of identify (passport, driving licence etc.), proof of address].
  • Contact Data includes billing address, delivery address, email address and telephone numbers.
  • Financial Data includes bank account and payment card details.
  • Transaction Data includes details about payments to and from you and other details of reservations and bookings you have made with us.
  • CCTV Data: includes footage and audio recordings of you which may be collected by our CCTV and surveillance systems when you attend our sites.
  • Technical Data includes internet protocol (IP) address, your login data, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, device ID and other technology on the devices you use to access our Website.
  • Profile Data includes your username and password, reservations or bookings made by you, any special requirements that you have, your interests, preferences, feedback and survey responses.
  • Usage Data includes information about how you interact with and use our website and any of our online facilities.
  • Marketing and Communications Data includes your preferences in receiving marketing from us and your communication preferences.

  • Social Media Data includes information about you from your social media profile and we may receive information about how you interact with social media from social media platforms (including Meta).

We also collect, use and share aggregated data such as statistical or demographic data which is not personal data as it does not directly (or indirectly) reveal your identity. For example, we may aggregate individuals’ Usage Data to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific website feature in order to analyse general trends in how users are interacting with our Website to help improve the Website and our service offering.

Direct marketing

During the enquiry / booking process on our Website when your personal data is collected, you will be asked to indicate your preferences for receiving direct marketing communications from Evergreen via email, SMS, telephone and/or post.

We may also analyse your Identity, Contact, Technical, Usage and Profile Data to form a view which resorts, facilities, experiences and offers may be of interest to you so that we can then send you relevant marketing communications.

We may use social media platforms to promote our business and resorts. For this purpose, we may share your personal data (such as your email address) with social media platforms for them to use to present sponsored posts in your social media feed, or for use by them to create audiences for our sponsored social media content. Opting out of marketing

Service Providers

We rely on various third party service providers to process your personal data for the purposes outlined above on our behalf. This includes third parties that provide services on our behalf or assist us with the day to day running of our business (such as our marketing, financial, information technology, customer support, email delivery, consumer research and website analytics suppliers).

These third parties act on our behalf when processing your personal data.  This means that they will only use your personal data in accordance with our instructions and not for their own purposes.  We require all third party services providers to provide contractual commitments to ensure the protection and security of your personal data, in accordance with data protection laws.

WHERE DO WE HOLD YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

We mostly hold your personal data in the UK.

Some of our third party service providers may be located outside the UK, or they may in turn use service providers in their supply chains located outside the UK.
