As it wends its way alongside us at Doublebois, our peaceful stretch of the River Fowey is the perfect location for a spot of fishing. It’s made all the better by the fact that it’s open only to guests and holiday home owners at Doublebois, giving you the opportunity for private fishing right beside where you are staying. And, best of all, it’s absolutely free of charge. You will need the appropriate fishing licence, of course, and after that, it’s over to you. The river is well-known for its salmon and sea trout, so you could be in for the catch of your life.

There is no charge to fish on our stretch of the River Fowey for guests and holiday home owners. You need a fishing licence, otherwise it’s free.

It’s all on the park, so there’s no driving or lugging your gear too far. You can be fishing on the river within minutes of leaving your accommodation.
