Walking in Cornwall

BEAUTY AROUND EVERY CORNER

The views, the setting and the chance to lose yourself in nature make Doublebois a special place in Cornwall. Head along the back of the historic Doublebois Grange - described in 1885 as ‘a house that stands on a picturesque site commanding an extensive view over the valley’ and you’ll arrive at the start of our beautiful Woodland Trail.

Here, you can follow the nature trail as it winds its way down the valley, to the pretty River Fowey below. Skim stones, cool off or simply take in the peaceful sounds of the water.

The trail is fairly gentle with a bench along the way making it ideal for families. From spotting colourful butterflies to identifying flora and fauna, it’s a lovely way to allow children to connect with nature.
